Our Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals departments performed fabrication and erection services for the 700,000 s.f. South Norwalk Mall – the SoNo Collection - which is scheduled to open in 2019. Ground broke in October, 2017, on the $525 million project, which includes 70 shops, along with restaurants, a central courtyard and children’s play area.

Completed work will include a four-story parking garage, three floors of retail space, and the roof. Particular challenges include using beams from Luxembourg (weighing over 50,000 lbs), plate girders over 5' deep, erecting steel over a working road at night, two 400 ton cranes on-site erecting steel simultaneously, and accommodating over 3,500 feet of ornamental glass rail.
